Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality on tourist satisfaction in Affandi museum, as well as to further find out what dimensions had the most influence on tourist satisfaction. The type of research used in this study is a type of quantitative research by carrying out questionnaires dissemination of research then processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 16.0 programs. This type of data collection instrument research is to use a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale which is given a score on each statement from tourists and also uses observation and documentation in collecting research data. The results of this study indicate that the quality of servants represented by dimensions, Reability (X1), Responsiveness (X2), Assurance (X3), Emphaty (X4), Tangible (X5) together (simultaneously) has an influence on tourist satisfaction with value Fcount is 12,145 with the significance level of anova table 0.000, with Adijusted R Square or the magnitude of the effect of variable service quality (X) on the variable of tourist satisfaction by 53.2% while the remaining 46.3% is influenced by variables not examined in this study and from the five quality variables the service is tangible variable is the variable that most influences the satisfaction of tourists (Y) with a tcount of 2.521 greater than table 2.01.
