Abstract

Tourism as one of the sectors of development that cannot be released because it is very related to sustainable development that has been declared by the Government in accordance with national development objectives. Blue Lagoon tourist village located in the hamlet of Servants, village Widodomartani, district Ngemplak, Sleman. Blue Lagoon tourist village was eon 22 March 2015 by Sleman Regent Sri Purnomo world water day which coincides. The Blue Lagoon was originally just an ordinary spring water source which is used to irrigate the rice fields. This research was qualitative in nature, the research aims to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subject of holistic research and with the way the description in the form of words and language, in a special natural context. As for the approach used in this study is a descriptive approach. Qualitative descriptive is the process of organize, sort, classify, code, categorize, identify and interpret/interpreting data and qualitative and quantitative information without any calculation. The SWOT analysis is used to formulate the various recommendations to generate tourism potential and development strategy that is right for the Blue Lagoon tour Ngemplak as a tourist area that has a tourist attraction. Analysis of the results obtained is tourist demand note that accessibility and infrastructure improvements leading to Blue Lagoon tour Sleman and improvement of facilities and services is a major factor against tourists demand the development of nature tourism in the tourist area of water Blue Lagoon Sleman and support the development of nature tourism in the tourist area of water Blue Lagoon Sleman and creating job opportunities and strive for the community while introducing the culture of the local community .
